CRIME IN ACTION!!!

THE VICTIM!!!
THE CULPRIT!!!
     REPORTER:  HOW IT HAPPEN??

     EYEWITNESS:  WELL, IT HAPPENED WHILE WE WERE PLAYING SPONGE BALL SOCCER.  IT WAS AN INTENSE GAME. A BIT LATER MY SISTER TOLD ME THAT HER TOE HURT AND THAT IT HURT TO WALK ON IT. SHE ALSO MENTIONED THAT SHE THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE BROKEN OR VERY DEEPLY SPRAINED!

    REPORTER: DO YOU OR YOUR SISTER KNOW WHO BROKE IT?
  
    EYEWITNESS:  DID I NOT SAY?!?  WHY! YES, OF COURSE, WE KNOW WHO BROKE IT!! IT WAS A FRIEND OF OURS....DORIS.

    REPORTER: WELL, COULD YOU TELL US HOW HE BROKE HER TOE?

    EYEWITNESS: YES, I CAN MY SISTER TOLD ME THAT AS SHE WAS TRYING TO KICK THE BALL AND DORIS STOMPED HARD ON HER TOE, NOT ONE TIME BUT TWO TIMES!!!!

    REPORTER:  SO WAS SHE IN SEVERE PAIN AND HAD TO BE TAKEN HOME?

    EYEWITNESS:  UM... NO, SHE DIDN'T.  SHE SUCKED UP THE PAIN AND PLAYED SOME OTHER GAMES WITH US.

    REPORTER: WHEN DID YOU KNOW THAT SHE HAD BROKEN HER TOE?

    EYEWITNESS:  WHEN WE HAD GONE HOME, SHE PEELED OFF HER SOCK TO SHOW ME THAT HER THIRD TOE ON THE RIGHT FOOT.   I HAD LOOKED AT IT AND SAW THAT IT WAS SWOLLEN.  SHE SHOWED OUR MOM AND MY MOM TOLD MY SISTER TO PUT SOME ICE ON IT.  WHEN WE WERE GOING TO BED, WE SAW THAT THERE WAS A RED RING AROUND THE MIDDLE OF HER TOE - WHICH ENDED UP BEING A BRUISE.  HER FOOT WAS NUMB AND SHE WOULD SCREAM IN PAIN IF YOU TOUCHED IT.  IT WAS QUITE BRUISED BY THE TIME WE FELL ASLEEP. 

    REPORTER: DID YOU EVER THINK TO BRING HER TO THE HOSPITAL?

    EYEWITNESS:  YES, WHEN OUR MOM GOT UP SHE SAW THAT HER TOE WAS STILL SWOLLEN AND PURPLE SO SHE DECIDED THAT WE SHOULD HEAD UP TO BACKUS HOSPITAL.

    REPORTER:  DID THE HOSPITAL GET YOU IN FAST?

    EYEWITNESS: YES, THEY DID. SHE GOT A X-RAY AND GOT HER TOE BUDDY WRAPPED PLUS A SHOE TO KEEP IT FROM MOVING A LOT. THE X-RAY SHOWED THAT SHE DID BREAK IT.  AFTER THE HOSPITAL,  SHE GOT COCONUT ICE CREAM. SHE IS STILL IN A LOT OF PAIN.

   REPORTER: HOW LONG WILL SHE HAVE TO KEEP THE SHOE ON??

   EYEWITNESS: THE DOCTOR SAID SIX WEEKS.

   REPORTER: PLEASE TELL YOUR SISTER THAT WE HOPE THAT SHE WILL FEEL BETTER SOON!

   EYEWITNESS: I WILL, THANK YOU!!

 REPORTER: NO, THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.  WELL, FOLKS YOU HEARD IT. COME BACK NEXT TIME!!!!
